For the first time in France, a giant panoramicfacility is being installed on the Seine at Rouen. German artist Yadegar Asisi has revived and renewed the panorama genre. His works are huge, spectacular and resolutely realistic and they give new life to lost or inaccessible places:exceptional natural locations, such as thesummit of Everest, the Amazon forest, or historical sites (ancient Rome in 312, the Berlin wall etc.).His technique combines painting, drawing and the use of digital images and every year draws in several hundred thousand visitors.
